About iTutorOnline
iTutorOnline is an online tutoring marketplace connecting students in Belgium and the Netherlands with more than 1,700 tutors across Europe. It was founded in 2025 and is based in Oost-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
Where some tutoring platforms take up to 60% of tutor earnings, iTutorOnline keeps its commission at 15% and pays tutors within 24 to 48 hours, so tutors keep 85% of their rate. On the platform, independent online tutors cost a median of 25 euro an hour, well below the 37 to 40 euro typical at tutoring agencies.
Built by a working tutor, iTutorOnline combines live video lessons and an interactive whiteboard with clear all-in pricing and a free trial lesson. iTutorOnline is bootstrapped, has more than 600 ID-verified tutors, and publishes open research on tutoring prices in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Founder
Louis Vanhove, Founder
Louis tutored students himself and saw agencies charge parents high hourly rates, take a large cut, and pay tutors slowly, so he founded iTutorOnline to do the opposite, with a 15% fee and payouts within two days. He still teaches on the platform himself and runs the company bootstrapped from Oost-Vlaanderen.
