Hi! I'm Lorenzo, a math and programming tutor based in Amsterdam. I have been a teaching assistant at university level for four years. As a former student, I deeply empathize with the feeling of being lost in complex equations and operations, and it is my goal to make that process as simple, yet thorough, as possible.

I'm a young marine biologist who offers a welcoming space for students to bring their questions and learn in an engaging way. My secondary school background includes both IGCSEs and the IB program, making me well-equipped to understand students from diverse backgrounds. Following our first session, I happily cater to each of my students' needs, ensuring they get the most out of our sessions. From brushing up on exam knowledge to writing a class essay or college application, I’m happy to help.

As for experience and qualifications, my studies at University are specifically designed to master and understand the foundations of the English language, from a linguistic point of view, as well as from a cultural and creative point of view. Essay writing can be intimidating, but in my lessons, I aim to cater my lessons based on the student's interests, that way the lesson goals form around genuine curiosity instead of purely around assignment. In other words: two birds, one stone.
