To learn as a student, you first need to understand the goal of what you are learning; this way you will immediately understand the concept better. Many people try to get into the details, but it is very important to understand the big picture first. For these reasons, I find it important as a teacher (+- 4 years of experience) to first ask the student what he/she already knows, before I explain the goal and concept. Only then come the details, step-by-step, so that everyone can follow along.

PhD physicist with international research experience in quantum optics, statistical physics, and nonlinear dynamics. I teach undergraduate & graduate physics and math, focusing on clarity, problem-solving, and intuition. Lessons are personalized, interactive, and practical, bridging theory and real-world examples. I help students excel in exams, projects, and research, in English or Italian, online.

I have graduated from the University of Toronto with a Specialist in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology as well as a Minor in Statistics. I am currently doing my Masters in Molecular Biology at Vrije Universiteit Brussel. I have 5+ years of tutoring experience. During my classes I change the teaching method according to the students's preferred learning methods.

1) Brainstorm and refine research questions aligned with your interests and field gaps (optional use of bibliometry – VOSviewer) . 2) Guide you through structuring your first paper (e.g., introduction, methodology, results, discussion). 3) Help you identify target journals (e.g., Energy Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production) based on scope, impact factor, and acceptance rates. 4) Image, equation and citation formatting (using Zotero). 5) Simulate the peer review process.
