I teach visually and via hands-on learning, and have been doing so for the past 4 years. I primarily use GoodNotes as a platform for visual display and explanation of any concepts, and follow the entire understanding by having a simple quiz towards the end of the session (each session is about 1 hour long). The notes made will be sent out to the student via PDF after the end of the class, and if needed, tests can be organised every few weeks to ensure the student does not forget main concepts!

With a heavy emphasis on Engineering throughout my academic career, I’ve developed a "first principles" approach to learning. I don't just teach formulas; I help students understand the why behind them. My background of academic distinction gives me the tools to simplify even the most daunting technical concepts. I’m excited to help students move past the "frustration wall" that often comes with STEM subjects. There is nothing more rewarding than the moment a complex problem finally clicks for

We will start with an introductory call to get to know each other before establishing your goals, learning style, and study schedule. I'll ask you to let me know in advance of each lesson what you'd like to focus on. During the lesson we'll use a combination of whiteboard exercises, quizzes, and exam question breakdown. A small homework task will follow each lesson to solidify your learning. I have a PhD in Biology after studying Biochemistry at university and Biology at IB (Higher) and GCSE.
