I am currently a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at Sorbonne University, where I also teach mathematics to undergraduate and master’s students. Alongside my university teaching, I have several years of experience tutoring middle school, high school, and university students with very different backgrounds and learning styles. What makes my teaching different is that I focus on how students think.

My teaching approach is centred on equipping and empowering students to become confident, independent learners. I tailor each lesson to their individual pace and learning style, using teaching techniques that work best for them. My goal is to give students the confidence and skills to apply what they have learned independently. My academic background and teaching experience allow me to explain complex concepts in a clear and approachable way, particularly in Maths and Science.

I have 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience and currently assist in GCSE maths classes in school. I love to work alongside my students to find the most effective teaching styles for their strengths and weaknesses, focusing on useful, exam-applicable practice questions and open conversation to attack confusion points together. I consider a good understanding of maths much more helpful (and enjoyable!) than memorisation, and find it really helps students find their confidence and perform well.

Math and economics have always been my passion, and I love helping students build real confidence in them. I'm studying full time for a Master's in Economics at the University of Copenhagen, Scandinavia's top-ranked university, and previously worked as an investment analyst at a top 5 world-leading asset management firm. With six years of tutoring experience, I use a simple "cookbook" method that turns tricky concepts into steps your child can actually remember, learn to love, and succeed with.

I have a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and over 5 years of tutoring experience. I aim to help students by building their foundation, filling in gaps, and focusing on understanding. Math is one of those subjects that can seem really intimidating, but shouldn't have to be! With the right planning, patience, and effort, anyone can be a math person, really. So if you need homework help, math practice, or just some supplemental material for a class, let's connect!
