Methodology

This report is based on two anonymous online surveys conducted between March and April 2026 using Google Forms:

  • Survey A — Parents & Students: [N] responses ([N] Belgium, [N] Netherlands)
  • Survey B — Tutors: [N] responses ([N] Belgium, [N] Netherlands)

Surveys were distributed through social media (Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook parent groups), university channels (VUB Brussels), and tutoring platform communities. All responses are self-reported and anonymous. No personally identifiable information was collected.

Limitations: This is a convenience sample, not a random probability sample. Results may skew toward digitally active, platform-using respondents. We note where this may affect interpretation.
